Individual therapy, in person
Weekly sessions at the Grand Avenue office in Oakland. This is the format I recommend for anxiety, perfectionism, and anything where the body is doing a lot of the talking. Being in the same room makes that work easier.
Everything here is weekly, 50 minutes, and ongoing rather than a fixed programme. Fees are listed in full so you can decide before you call.

Video sessions on a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. You need to be physically located in California at the time of the session, and somewhere you won't be overheard. A parked car counts more often than you'd think.
Same format as individual therapy, with a caseload of people who do the same kind of work you do. You won't have to explain what a bad shift is, or apologise for the things you feel about the people you care for.
I'm out-of-network with all insurers. Many plans reimburse 50–80% of an out-of-network session once your deductible is met; I provide a monthly superbill you can submit, and I'll tell you exactly what to ask your plan on the consult call.
You'll receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing before we begin, as required under the No Surprises Act. Payment by card or bank transfer at the time of session. Cancellations with more than 48 hours' notice aren't charged.
I hold three sliding-scale slots at $110 per session, prioritised for graduate trainees and people working in public education or public health. They're often full; ask anyway, and I'll tell you where the waitlist stands.
